BJS President Mr.Shantilal Muttha has been working over time for the last 3 days, while in Andaman & Nicobar and due to his sheer perseverance that the Government has given us the go ahead…

In Mr. Muttha words, in terms of destruction & devastation has been massive

Mr. Muttha's field visit report points out the following:

1. Around 30% of the islands are still to get proper relief measures

2. Almost all the schools from over 100 nos. in the inhabit ate islands have been totally destroyed Mr. muttha has figures of around 91 schools, which need to be re- built/ re-constructed...

3. Along the relief materials required by the islanders, water & blankets are in top of the list…

BJS has already send around 8600 blankets to the Lt. Governor's Port Blair relief office and a second lot awaits shipment...

BJS thus would like all like-minded people to be associated with this mammoth & difficult project, which would be spread over many islands, and one of the most difficult tasks would be to coordinate the entire logistics...

Complete project cost and other associate details would be ready by this coming Monday (24th Jan 2005)...

BJS would once again appeal too all of you & request for your valuable support to make this project a "success"...
